Dream a little dream

I don't often remember my dreams, but cannot ever shake the ones I do. When I was a child, I had a recurring dream with in which I fought a fire breathing dragon with a sword in order to protect my mom and grandmother. The dreams I remember now are always about mom. After she passed away, she would die in my dreams. Every dream was a different setting, but always the same. Now I dream that she comes home, and I am always upset with her-- Where have you been? How come you never water the plants? Why am I left to take care of all of this on my own?-- And for days after another one of her homecomings, I am left empty.

Bit the bullet.

Well, I did it. The DSLR is too big to carry around all the time... and too expensive at that. I found the Canon Powershot SD990IS for $100 off the MSRP and $100 cheaper than BestBuy. Nearly all the features of my XTi packed into my pocket with higher resolution to boot.

Amazon.com has been treating me right lately.

New Year's Resolution?

My life is quite dull and repetitious. I go to work, I visit my grandpa, I do my homework, I go to bed. Repeat. Some things have changed in the time I've been neglecting this blog. I'm older (next month is the big 2-3! Some days I swear I might be 40). I exercise by boxing with the Wii. I try to maintain a cleaner mind and body... take that for what its worth.

I haven't ever been much of a blogger. When I started this blog, I intended it to be a bit of a photoblog. With the upcoming year, this goal remains. So even though it isn't the new year quite yet, I'm going to jump the gun anyway. For your viewing pleasure... my cube.
